We had a great time on Saturday (10/31/09) at the Trek / Gary Fisher Demo!
 Martin shows off the Fisher Cronus Ultimate Thanks to the over 60 people who came and ride bikes, and huge thanks Dax and John from Trek for bringing a trailer load of great bikes! We fed over 100 people lunch off the grill, it was a sunny day with good friends, tunes, and a lots of sweet 2010 bikes!! Gary Fisher Bicycles is owned by Trek since 1993 but maintains a completely different design team than Trek, with an emphasis on mountain bikes and in the past several years dedicated heavily to the use of 29 inch wheels (road bike size rather than traditional 26 inch mountain bike wheels) on mountain bikes. With Gary being “Mr. 29′er” we are starting off carrying his sweet (and economical) 2010 X-Caliber 29er. On the Lefty Fork: “insane XC fork that leaves me drawing blanks if asked to name a fork I would prefer regardless of bike brand.” On the bike overall: “There’s so much feedback and so little slop anywhere that I’ve not been on anything else that handles like this bike. In fact I’ve been on dual suspension bikes with front and rear locked out that don’t react as quickly as the Scalpel does with its suspension fully active”. |
