Where Mountain Biking Was Born
Sunshine Bicycle Center has been in Fairfax since 1971. We’re at the foot of Mt. Tamalpais and the world-famous Repack downhill, where mountain biking began. Out the door you have Mt. Tam singletrack, Camp Tamarancho and the Endor Flow Trail, plus miles of road riding in West Marin.
Our Story
Over 50 years in business. We carry mountain, gravel, eMTB, road, commute, and kids bikes, with an emphasis on mountain and a solid selection of e-bikes across all categories. We service everything — all brands, all types, all budgets.
Our Team
Sunshine is a family shop. Owner Martin Hansen has been at the store since 1978, handling bikes, service, and gear alongside a dedicated team of cycling experts. Our mechanics include lifelong professional techs with decades of combined experience.
