This morning Ibis Cycles announced the revised and updated Mojo 4.
The new Mojo - Version 4 - blends recent specs and features of current popular Ibis models with the concept and lineage of the Mojo, which goes back to its origins in 1994.
The update continues to feature 27.5" wheels across the sizes, catering to those who prefer the more nimble feel of that wheel size or those who are perhaps transitioning up in wheel size but are not interested in 29".
- 27.5" wheels
- 130mm rear travel
- 140mm front travel
- Up to 2.6" tires
- dw-link suspension
- updated geo
- traction tune
- reduced fork offset
- internal cable routing
- lower link bushings with lifetime warranty
- downtube protector
- 7 year frame warranty
Mojo 4 now incorporates advanced geometry with 76.6 degree seat tube angle, shorter chainstays, and spacious reach with a 65.4 degree head tube angle.
Mojo 4 picks up the more reliable and stiffer suspension linkage that Ibis has been working to apply through their line, based off the Ripmo design that has proven performance on several levels.
Added dropper post clearance is also part of the update, as well as internally molded cable tunnels, added frame protection, and space for water bottles inside the triangle of all four sizes.
New colors are also in the offing, choose from "Blue Dream" or "Dirty White Board".
Mojo 4 comes in 4 sizes (15"-21") and is available now with frame and shock for $2,999 and complete bikes starting at $4,499.
We expect to have the Mojo 4 in our rental/demo fleet in July.
