Sunshine has been in Fairfax since 1971. We support local trails, youth MTB teams, and the organizations that keep riding here what it is.
High School MTB Teams
Sunshine sponsors local NICA NorCal high school mountain bike teams each season with discounts on bikes and gear. Getting kids on trails is something we care about and always will.
We currently support teams at Archie Williams High School and the Fairfax Fat Tire Flyers, with discounts on Trek and Ibis bikes (special order) and 20% off storewide on parts, accessories, and clothing for verified team members and coaches.

MTS maintains existing Marin mountain bike trails and builds new singletrack. Their mission: advocate for trail access, champion world-class singletrack, and engage the community for better mountain biking in Marin.

Since 1998, MCBC has worked to transform how Marin moves — safer streets, trail access, and a cycling community for everyone from the daily commuter to the weekend trail rider. Sunshine was the 2016 Biketoberfest Presenting Sponsor.

The Marin Council, Scouting America operates Camp Tamarancho above Fairfax. In partnership with the Friends of Tamarancho volunteer group and Marin Trail Stewards, they maintain miles of singletrack around the camp and provide public access through the Marin County Open Space Preserves.
A co-ed composite junior development mountain bike team open to any middle schooler in Marin. Sunshine supports the Flyers each season with team discounts on bikes, parts, and gear.
We've supported Archie Williams High School (formerly Drake), San Domenico, and Marin Academy mountain bike teams with donations and sponsorships over the years.
We've donated to local schools and nonprofits across Marin County each year. Past recipients include the Forest Knolls Freewheelers, Yes! Foundation / Ross Valley Schools, KWMR, and many others.
