Sunshine Bicycle Mucks It Up At Marinduro 2024

March 30th turned out to be a rainy Saturday morning and the 324 participants of Marinduro 2024 were ready to battle the mud.  The 12-mile race, which began and ended in downtown Fairfax, wound its way through the hills of Camp Tamarancho and boasted many challenging stages including a 1,750' altitude gain. The map of the race wasn’t divulged until riders arrived for the start, adding a bit of mystery to the expectations of the course and no one knew what to expect except, well, mud.

Sunshine Bicycle Center was once again a primary sponsor of the race. Sunshine's own Hunter Tumbleson took the race in stride, representing Sunshine Bicycle with his participation and can-do attitude, mucking up his bike and himself in the process.

Marinduro is a benefit for Access4Bikes Foundation and will help offset the costs of providing and maintaining the well-used trails at Camp Tamarancho. The race was a huge success in both attendance and support for the community.
